Characteristics of Cape Horn plastic-coated galvanised mesh

Description

Fencing made of galvanised and plastic-coated chain-link mesh, with support posts and fixing systems.

Single-twist chain-link mesh with diamond-shaped openings, made from hot-dip galvanised iron wire in accordance with standard UNI EN 10244-2, and subsequently plastic coated through an extrusion process. The mesh size is 50×50 mm, while the 2.7 mm wire thickness is greater than that normally available on the market. Available from stock in nine different heights (see technical data sheet). On request, it can be produced with increased thickness, in a galvanised-only version, or plastic coated in other RAL colours.

Posts made from T-profile steel, 40x40x4 mm, offering far greater strength and durability than those commonly available on the market. The steel is sandblasted and chemically cleaned before being powder-coated with thermosetting polyester paint. Available from stock in six different heights (see technical data sheet). On request, they can be supplied hot-dip galvanised or painted in other RAL colours. It is also possible to use tubular posts with a 48 mm diameter, made of galvanised steel compliant with UNI EN 10244-2, and powder-coated with thermosetting polyester paint. Available from stock in green RAL 6005 and in 6 different heights. Other colours available upon request.
One or more rows of galvanised and plastic-coated barbed wire, made of two twisted wires with 4-point barbs, can be installed along the top of the fence. Installation requires using taller posts, either vertical or angled at 45°.
Tension wire made of hardened galvanised and plastic-coated steel, with a finished thickness of 2.7 or 3.0 mm. Binding wire made of annealed galvanised and plastic-coated steel, with a finished thickness of 1.5 mm. Tensioners made of galvanised steel and polyester powder-coated, with larger dimensions than those found on the market. On request, all accessories can be supplied in a galvanised-only version or painted in other RAL colours.
The posts are installed either in the ground or on a concrete wall, in holes of suitable dimensions (see technical data sheet). For both types of installation, the distance between posts is set at 2000 or 2500 mm. At the starting points, changes in direction, and every 25 metres, the posts
